Process

Transforming your goals in three steps

A clear, collaborative process designed for AHA-delivered supports.

  1. Consultation

    • Initial meeting: discuss goals (in person or virtual).
    • Assessment handover: review clinician guidance and priorities.
    • Session plan: agree on focus areas and logistics.
  2. Ongoing sessions

    • Program delivery: implement clinician-designed activities.
    • Skill practice: fine/gross motor, routines, participation, regulation.
    • Coaching: collaborate with families/carers for carryover at home/school.
    • Notes: document session data and observations.
  3. Progress tracking

    • Monitoring: track goals and milestones across sessions.
    • Reporting: share updates with supervising clinician and family.
    • Adjustments: refine strategies and targets as needs evolve.
